Would it just be a waste of time and effort to do the big 3 in 4 gauge? Or should I just wait till I can get 0 gauge. @therealweechaz

DubNDodge Posted February 5, 2013 Report Posted February 5, 2013 Personally I would wait until I had the cash for 1/0. It would be a complete waist of time to do it now, then do it later. What you can do now is go get a string and measure out how much 1/0 you are going to need. Also figure out where you are going to run it (away from heat and moving parts, etc) But that's just me. Carbon Posted February 5, 2013 Report Posted February 5, 2013 You could do 2-4 runs of 2ga and wrap the cables in a sleeve or somthing to make it look cleaner. Technically speaking it would be the same as if you had the 1/0 with enough copper..
