You should hear some real subs and then make your opinion of the Duals. that's what I've been told about my audiopipe subs in my trunk but noone has been willing to step up and let me hear some real subs so I guess I just gotta wait till I can get my hands on some "real" subs of my own and then try them out and hear it for myself in my own car :-P from everything I've been hearing the HDC312s I'm tryina get more than qualify as "real" subs lol I'm thinkin right now that I might try tuning them down to around 27-30 with an aero port... if I don't like it I'll just pop off the elbow and take it back up to 33-34 range lol Thanks I was pretty excited about the alt myself. kind of like a school girl, in a dress, on a swing. lol It's warming up enough that the donut-punching cyclist douchenozzles are getting their two wheeled fagmobiles out. Seriously though when hes down my street my windows rattle, the shit is ridiculous. pioneer subs aren't that great either... pioneer is great for head units from what I've been told... but just cuz they're good with one aspect of car audio doesn't mean they necessarily should be used for everything in the car... Joe X Posted February 9, 2013 Report Posted February 9, 2013 Im looking at a ported box right now and im looking for low bass, would 33 hz be considered low bass? Tuning changes with temperature, tune to 33Hz in an ext cab and will have a different effect than in a big trunk car, then there's the subs you pick...
