treylittlefield
Here are two ways I could go about wiring them. I went ahead and did it this way, if it doesn't work it won't be near as hard to change it. This will be where the two charge wires off the alts come to. Second batt 3rd batt. Gonna need some terminals for this one. 1 4/0 3 1/0 and 2 gauge on each terminal. Will be 2 4/0 grounds running to frame off this batt also. Better idea of how it's ran. Still gotta put interior plastics back in.

treylittlefield
That's a lot of wire! haha its only 4/0 man......i ALWAYS overkill my electrical. just how i am. id rather do a single run of this stuff then mess around with several runs of 1/0, and come out about as cheap. its only $3.61/ft
treylittlefield
Got a little bit of a problem i gotta fix first before i install the alts. See how the charging posts stick out? im afraid it is going to hit the hood and the power steering pump. (left alt is the top). gonna send it off to singer to get them re-clocked and possibly powder-coated if he will. might even get a clamp of them since Mechman was too lazy to do so.lol

treylittlefield
actually felt like i got a little bit acomplished today, was gonna send out the alts monday, but said screw it i'll test fit them even though i know they wont fit. i'll be damned if they fit loldoesnt hit the hood, not even the insulation inside the hood. was rather shockedhere is where i had to beat the fender in a little so the bottom alt would fit right.little bit of sub porn this is the plan on securing the subs downHopefullly this weekend i get the wires ran for the alts, get everything under the hood done except grounds. plan on getting subs mounted and amp installed besides the power and ground( waiting on a distro block from toolmaker). also plan to figure out the tuning i want and might play around with some polyfill to see how it effects it. Tarball
Couple pieces of advice here since you are mounting the subs (if you haven't already by this point). Use stainless steel t-nuts While mounting glue the t-nuts in place with some rubberized CA glue (be sure not to CA the bolts to the t-nuts though!). Looking good im tuned in! treylittlefield
Why stainless steel t nuts? I have resined them before, but it was a headache. I put 3 coats of resin on the inside, so I won't have any problem with them slipping. Plus birch tends to help a little also in my experience lol
