Building the box this one was 33.75 wide x 14.5 tall x 24 deep IIRC. Tuned to about 32 hz with 12.5 ppc. RCA's run.. time to solder the head unit and meters. luxary liner in... meters and headunit soldered. Ready for input. SPL tape!! so ill actually type a little bit here. When i first installed the box, my bandwidth increased a great deal.. my peak went down to 32 hz and my new score was a 147.1 Well... Using a bunch of this tape and some testing over the corse of 2 weeks i brought my score from a 147.1 at 32 hz to a 149.2 at 32hz. Then i swapped from a zero.1 to a m4b (3.5k to 5k board) and gained the last .8 db... officially hitting a 150.0db from a trunk at 32hz. It is an outlaw score... but on the way back we did a windows down headrest score driving and it was between a 145 to 146.5 depending not the frequency. making some back trim panels. doing some testing with my DSP back to the beauty panels... here you can see my SPL switch... its just a switch to turn off both of my 4 channels during testing. increases my score by about .2db by having the amps off and i don't have to mess up my front stage with 32hz tones.
