So when you hit the gas it revs a bit a knocks into gear. Or how much would it cost to have it towed there? Cuz it sounds like you just gotta get it to florida and you're golden. You just need to find a way to get it there without driving it... So I'd have to look into car transportation services and it would have to cost less then $500 or it wouldn't be worth it because dad needs a grand to fix it. The car isn't worth much more than that....if you're gonna end up paying that just sell the car with a bad tranny and use that $2k to get a different car.
