Swordlordboy1234
Sooo... Updates! Good NEWS I got a tapping kit from harbor fright. It worked amazing. RE tapped the threads on my d3100 and learned a little while i was there. Some dielectric grease, the proper tap to match the exact bolts i purchased (5/16 24) which i learned was the size of the bolt and the thread pattern. And about 1.5 hours later (i went really really really slow to be careful) It worked! Gave it a nice good charge floating around 13.1 and I'm resting almost at 13v now. 12.96 to be exact. So my car should rest above 12.9 now since both my Xs power batteries rest there... Hopefully. I also am going to use this time to clean up every little thing thats been bugging me. Every wire that doesn't have heat shrink, every crimp i didn't like. The plexi on the amps vibrating when the trunk is open (ill fix with some foam tape) ALL WILL BE FIXED! Bad news.. As some of you may already know.. One sub literally lost resistance in one of its coil. So its being re coned right now and should be up and playing again shortly. I also am going to re DD1 my system. I don't think I'm tuned perfect because of a short cut i took while setting it up. So fixing it.... Now for pics. This is where my new battery pissed me off. The terminals are farther away so it messed up how my cables looked. So I'm gonna order some more 1/0 and 4ga and heat shrink and fix all the cables and get them in the final resting place. Thinking of turning the TM battery terminals towards each other instead of towards the box and running the cables that way so it will look better. Still debating. Love this charger! thanks dad!
