I think I'm gonna try to just swap pro comps for my polks and get some q logic kicks for quickness. Comps will be in during late nov so it will be a last minute thing before my show. Like, lay that shit on there. Cover 100% of the surface that the pod will cover. That'll keep it on. Then some day if you want it off, peel the velcro off. Then use some Goo-Gone or something to get the residual adhesive off the door. Never seen below 11.1 and that is after trying air forces... lol. But those are all idle voltages. I stay 12.8 ish full tilt, starting around 13.5, then 13.1 then settling at 12.8 after a few bass lines. Trying to figure out how to get better voltage again. Im thinking i might need OFC everything... maybe a full length ground front to back thats linked to both the front and rear strut towers on the way, and (not gonna happen by TD) DC power 270xp to top it off. maybe switching to XS power after i get all of those things done. By TD im trying for a all OFC after the rear battery, and ill just be careful with voltage. Hopefully before summer 2014 ill be back in the 13+ volt club. Bump4life Posted October 18, 2013 Report Share Posted October 18, 2013 nice man!! im glad you are happy!! that broken port means you need stronger box!! the OFC should definetyl help with voltage!! i think once you swap your alt and go to OFC you should be 13 plus. if not, one more battery maybe larger than a group 24 or about the same should hold you up there. with 2 xs power D3100s i can hold 13-13.2 no clip at the amp for as long as i want on my 2 m3b wired at .7 a piece. when i drop it to .18 they dont like it., 10.xx volts. but looks good man!!
