Ya. its only at half on both gains. I am not sure where to even begin. This voltage stuff is all over my head.

Everything is wired straight, so each speaker has its own channel. Front two are on channel one and two, back two on channel three and four.

Mike Singer is the only one who said he'd build me one. I can't wait to get it. I have to do more research. My car is running rough. The voltage was at 14.4-13.8 today. I think my computer is messing everything up, but i am not 100% sure. When it comes to this it is all way way over my head. Mike said he could just bypass the computer but that my light would be on all the time and my car is one of these new cars that text you when it has problems and gives you a report to tell you when it needs work, so I don't know how hip I am about the light being on all the time and getting emails and text 24/7 about a major problem and it needs to be bought in. I was thinking of running two alt. One just for the stereo, but that would mean putting the old battery back, moving the 3700 to the back and re working all my 1/0g wire, and I don't know if I can afford to do that. I am kinda stuck. Waiting to hear back from a few people. I found a guy who doesn't live far from here who owns a shop and has a V with a stereo. I sent him a message asking what he has done to his V. I don't know. All this is beyond my pay grade ;)

Still fighting this voltage issue, plus another bug that showed its face today. I have sunk every last penny I had, plus more into this rebuild. One issue is just a bug and I just found it today, so I haven't had a chance to figure it out. All the mids/highs were working and today one set of comp and one mid bass went out. I don't know if it's an RCA issue or what. It's not a loose wire issue, because all connections are good. The biggest issue that I need help with is voltage and PCM issue. Before any thing was hooked up, other than the front battery, the car began to run rough. AFter hooking everything up except the sub, the voltage began to read crazy. I am reading off of the 2k but the sub is NOT in and it would go from 14.4 to 13.2. Over the last day or so I've taken it on the interstate for about 45 mins both ways. The voltage seemed to stay in the low 14's. The problem is the check engine light is now staying on and the car is just running rough. I was told that the PCM could be bypassed with a new alt, but the engine light would stay on. I also was thinking of running two alt, with an upgraded alt just for the system, but that would mean placing the factory battery back, and re-running all the wire, which isn't something that I want to do. I am just looking for options or to be pointed to someone who knows way more than I do about newer cars, PCM, and voltage issues. Because this idiot here doesn't know a thing.

Just wanted to give you guys a little update. After doing some more research I got the amp issue fixed. Ended up being a mixture of a bad setting and a mixed up wire.

The big issue of the voltage is this.

I texted the alt - it's charging at 14.2

Front battery is sitting at 13.3 and needs to be topped off so I am going to charge it tomorrow.

Back battery is sitting at 14.4 and is good.

The engine light and car running badly is the 3rd cylinder misfiring. We put it on a scan tool that reads the errors and that's what it's saying. I am not sure if during the set up something happened and it surged and messed up something, but at least now I know it's not a voltage issue messing things up.

I bring it to the shop on Friday and I'll let you guys know what they say. I think now that I know its not the PCM and I can upgrade the alt is a good thing.

If it went smooth and easy, there would be ZERO learning. Just keep swinging my friend. Just keep swinging.

That sucks man. I'd check the conections at the plug on number 3, you could of knocked something lose when you were working under the hood. Also check for moisture too I seen that you were doing some work in the rain they could of gotten wet. Thats all it takes is bit water to get in there to cause a short, had it happen to my sister-in-law's car. If thats the case dry it off with some paper towel then clean the points of the plugs emery paper and it should be good as new. Either way keep us posted and best of luck to ya bro!

It's like rubbing your wiener up against a sheep.
