JeremyN Posted February 14, 2013 Author Report Share Posted February 14, 2013 what I was looking for was something similar to the Coustic XM-5 I had in 1996 and I set it up with front high pass 4khz to a pair of Perrless 1 inch soft domes via 70watt amp ,the band pass 4khz to 85hz to a second 70watt split with air core passive crossovers I built splitting 400hz and down to a set of Dynaudio 7" woofers and 400hz up going to a set of Seas 4" mids while the lowpass 80hz sent signal to a pair of 200 watt amps powering a pair of Impact 12" subs . The rear center channel as a differential channel that ran to a 50 watt amp running a set of Alpine 5 1/4 coaxes.
