sayhuh?
Would this box be good? Subs up, port back. in the back half of a 2 door VW GTI (from the front seats to the hatch). Leaves about 8" of space between port and back hatch itself. Thanks in advance. Blown
CleanSierra
That's a LOT of port area for such a low tune. Those subs are low end monsters on their own, they don't need such a low tune to dig low, especially in such a small cabin. I'd cut the port per foot back just a little bit, maybe down to.the 14-16 range? Im not the one you want to try to troll. Just a fyi for you. sayhuh?
Or this? Gives me about 2.75 cu ft per sub, between 14-16 in port area, and tuned to 33(ish) hz. Again..thanks! Blown

zayres29
I misread this you are doing 4 15a you should have at least 3.5ft per sub you don't even have 3 Btw that was the first person. sayhuh?
I misread this you are doing 4 15a you should have at least 3.5ft per sub you don't even have 3 actually, no. VVXs only recommend 2.5-3.0 ported. Blown
zayres29
Eh personally id never put 15a in anything less than 3.0 remember bigger box = more efficient Btw that was the first person.
