DubNDodge
Yeah the port plug just raises 25-32hz by about 2 db. Still even with it in I don't play 25he all that often and by that I mean maybe once a week when that song gets shuffled onto. They unload way to much. While at 28hz they hardly move. Granted I don't have shit for port area with the plug in and they get stinky playing just a few songs. Keep in mind I did the exact same things with the 2.5s '01 Dodge Stratass Sealed Trunk Build Log 2008 Honda Fit Sport Build Log On 10/3/2013 at 10:00 AM, ROLEXrifleman said: Anyone who says they knew everything they wanted out of life at 19 can go suck a bag of dicks cause they are lying to themselves or brought up in a cult. soundstream15
Well then, what could be causing this?? My guess is you got a bad case of woofers.
JEFFYBOI
After inspecting the sub, you haven't noticed anything that doesn't look right? I could be way off but I had one of my subs making a similar noise. come to find out my sub has a ring around the spider and the ring came loose from the basket causing a horrible noise while playing. I used some epoxy and it sounds clean as can be again. DubNDodge
Nothing I could figure out. Pushed up on cone and down on spiders. Pushed up on spider edges. Played it outside of box to see any abnormal things. Nothing I could notice. Sounds to be directly under the dust cap when played outside of box. n8ball2013
See if the spider is still attached to the former. Did you ever bottom it out? Is itba crunchy noise. DubNDodge
That's the triple joint no? It's glued damn well right there it seems. Nope it never bottomed out, ever. Really surprising actually because there were a few songs that I didn't play before and didn't expect them to be so low. Stupid of me to play a new song full tilt, but thankfully they didn't bottom out, probably the SSF saved them. That wasn't recent at all that it happened. Another note, RMA in, going to try and ship though usps tomorrow if I can. If not I'll find a UPS somewhere.
