I did my fuel pump today, with of ton of help from my friend. He works at a trucking company, repairing/rebuilding anything to do with semis basically. Has a DAMN nice tool set, worth WAYY over the amount of my car and everything in it lol. Some of you knew I had issues with some bad gas, so I thought. Switched were I got gas and I also started adding dry gas (heet). Well the issue popped up again so I said screw it, buying a new pump. (The issue had to deal with topping off my tank and then having major power loss issues. Like reving down almost to a stall then coming back up. If I took it out of gear it actually would stall) Pics Well it's a good thing I wanted gas tank straps for christmas lololol. Thing was basically rusted in half. As soon as he went to toss it out from under car it went limp Got the tank out. A little bit of debris in the tank, not worth dumping out and washing though. LOL Yes he drew lines on the pump with his finger, that's after he tilted it upside down and the crap from the strainer ran down the side. So I could have gotten away with just changing out the strainer, as that was my issue. Who thinks my car would look good with these on it.? rofl He put it next to my car for gits and shiggles. I couldn't stop laughing. It never really ran "bad" persey, only after fill up is when I had any sort of issue. It also didn't have issues when I topped off the tank after words. It's nice knowing you don't have to worry about being stranded anymore lol. Only thing left to fix is the thermostat. Leaking a good amount of coolant. Might eventually get to the valve cover gasket, I've been spotting for a while now. just topping off the oil as it needs it. Thanks! Each are wired to their own channel on my 4 channel amplifier. But they do have a passive crossover that goes with it, when I purchased them, and it is 1 ohm. So technically my amplifier sees 5 ohm on channels 1 and 2 and 4 ohm on channels 3 and 4 from the 6.5" mids. Good luck on SOTM, you got my vote. Good to see someone else on this forum who has to deal with snow!
