Upload and download documents, use your iPad as a wireless USB drive. The world is your oyster with jail breaking. The front of my lock screen picture is a damn .gif image. Why wouldn't you jailbreak? Clear safari browser with one click. All without leaving the lock screen, or home screen or any app your in. Jail breaking is no risk, if it fails it puts the iPad in Dfu mode. The only thing you will ever lose is music. Because iTunes doesn't backup music.
