I had to mount my amp to the top of the box in the Sausage, and it did shake loose (from the box) within a month.. Added some extra vertical bracing in the box, rubber grommets under the amp feet and under the screw heads. Holding strong since then.. Depending on the available space, you can attach the amp, but still isolate it from the vibration as much as possible.. Torres Posted February 6, 2008 Report Share Posted February 6, 2008 check my build, i used the grommets the first time around. need to use some on both sides where you're puttin it. second time around i double layered the back side where the amps went, and put 6 layers of fatmat between the sheets of wood. the inside is braced nice and sexy on the inside also.
