mrdavebasshead75 Posted February 19, 2013 Report Posted February 19, 2013 Quick question. I decided to add some front fill in my Bravada and want to get a pair of Dayton Audio RS100-4's and a pair of Pioneer TS-T15 tweets and run them off the stock radio. Being that the Daytons are only rated at 30Watts each, could these even be amped? Also, I been wanting to glass my a-pillars and maybe put these mids and tweets there but would it be a waste of time since im only putting radio power to them?? http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/141026-2001-bravada-build-2-15supdated/?fromsearch=1 ----old build!! http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/194247-2005-chrysler-300c-buildslowwwww-lol/ -----new build!!

bcbrassard Posted February 20, 2013 Report Posted February 20, 2013 I think you will get some sound from them, not even sure if they make amps with that low out watts output but any speakers can be upgraded later on. What does your system consist of? HU? Any amps now? Subs?
D-train-13k Posted February 20, 2013 Report Posted February 20, 2013 honestly if youre wanting to put an amp on the mids and highs later i would get something in the 60-100rms range. and glassing your a pillars for factory radio power without any other custom work wouldnt be worth it in my opinion. glassing correctly is a job. so if you want to practice go for it. otherwise i wouldnt bother. mrdavebasshead75 Posted February 20, 2013 Author Report Posted February 20, 2013 Thanks guys for the replys. But as of now I have a pair of Crossfire 4X6's in the dash off the radio and wanted to eliminate those. Im also getting rid of the 6.5" PowerBass's and im replacing those 2 mids with my 4 Crescendo PWX6's and 2 FT1's. Would it be beneficial to add some mids and tweets to my Apillars? Also I have an extra pair of pillars I snatched from the local pull a part so yes, I do want to try my hand at glassing and would LOVE to upgrade to better mids for the pillars in the future, just needed to know if doing that along with radio power would be a waste of time which u guys acknowledged http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/141026-2001-bravada-build-2-15supdated/?fromsearch=1 ----old build!! http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/194247-2005-chrysler-300c-buildslowwwww-lol/ -----new build!!

Edit: 8ight i gotcha thats what i figured. but yeah glassing is fun process but starting at the a pillars doesnt seem like a good idea.
