srool
I'm going to flare 4" PVC tube, I calculated with BB6P a 37 cm port length. My question is: what should be the tube length before the flare? I assume I need to keep a straight 37cm beside the flares, don't I?
Joe X
Like this: Or go here: http://www.psp-inc.com/tools.html Enter the data requested to get both the non flared as well as the flared port length, it should be close enough even if using non PSP ports. littlehitter
I would buy a bit of extra and a slip coupling. Then you just flare the ends and cut the extra out of the middle and put it together with the coupling. srool
Here is the port I made, second try: I drilled it and then screwed it, but still it started to crack when I screwed it more than a bit. Is there a safe way to drill it? Is there a simple way to flat the lip so it would fit exactly to the box plate without any gaps (that I filled with silicon)?
