Any suggestions to hold a rear mounted battery

Im gonna be in the process of adding a D975 in the back of my GTi. I dont wanna add a battery box.

Has anyone use some heavy duty velcro, or some type of a hook 'n' loop set up?

I seen some hook 'n' loop velcro at Grainger but i dont need 50ft of the stuff.

Honestly I would not just use velcro alone...

Try a strap looped under the floor if you dont want a box.

I've seen someone use straps like this in an offroad vehicle, the straps held the enclosure in place lol. I mean I'd rather bolt it to the ground.

They sell corner brackets at Home Depot. Grab a pack, screw it to the floor and place battery in the spot.

I use that heavy duty velcro on mine & it seems to work just fine. I'm not sure if it would stick to carpet but it sticks to wood damn good. Not sure on how good it would hold up if you were in an accident though so do it this way at your own risk.
