So if there is no idea of subs how can the wall continue? Last time I checked and correct me if Im wrong because I know nothing about walls but doesn't the sub have a lot to do with tuning and what not? So wouldn't you need to know the subs and plan out air space accordingly? Some subs prefer larger enclosures some do better in smaller spaces so shouldn't the subs be on hand before the wall is continued? I'm just curious as to how much a change like this would mean for the progression of the build. I mean this was originally planned for Fi 18's but now its changing so do you keep going and then feel in space later dependent upon the subs?

Great question, I didn't think about that either.

So you're saying then that if the shell is around 20 cubes, Nick I think that's what you said right, and you bought subs that looked for say 15 cubes, then you'd just have to fill in to match the lower cubes? Add a wall, add bracing, etc?

Pretty much.....A good sized port will take up a lot of room also

obviously it would be easier to build to the correct size in the first place, but both ways work

I guess so. Just seems like you should have a plan before the wall gets built. I guess everything can be changed in some way or another, adding walls, subtracting walls although that would be a messed up messy job.

Btw, I'll go ahead and leave the other stuff out that you put in there and edited out. But if you'll notice, I'm not the one who's bumping it. I simply come in when notified of someone else saying something or nick posting pics in this BUILD LOG, or you posting pics in this BUILD LOG. It's a build log, if you don't want people bumping it, don't post it!

I, like other folks in here, wanted to know, since you were the one, after all, who teased a change and now won't tell anyone what it is. Don't be so easily irritated man. I'm not trying to stir the pot, I'm interested. If you don't like that, fold up and go away. Otherwise let's see some more progress!

Second, I added to my post. I did not remove a single word. It makes more sense to add to a post rather than post 2 posts back to back.

I honestly have no clue what is going on with the sub dilemma right now. The 18s I had will not work so I need new subs. Still looking at prices and what will best work for my car.

This is exactly what I'm talking about, poking, and you're all freaking menstrating and shit. I'm the only one that seems to get under your skin when I poke, but someone else does it and it's no big deal. Calm down!!

Your post did not show all that when I clicked on it, but when the quote showed up it was there, so you must have edited it when I clicked. Doesn't really matter. Calm down is the bottom line.

And by the way don't blame me for the 30 pages N8 had to clean up. Again with the singling me out! Don't get mad at me for being truthful. We talked about this already. If you have a problem with me personally feel free to pm me and explain what it is, but you're the only one getting worked up about it, cause I'm still going to be around. I don't care. It would just do you some good to relax a little.

Why don't you think the subs will work first of all, second you talked about changes so everyone is curious. You don't want to tell anyone what you're thinking, fine don't. But don't expect people not to be curious about it. I mean someone even asked you if you wanted suggestions and you were an ass about it, seemed that way to me anyway. But here you say, you don't have any clue about the sub dilemma. Well if you don't have a clue, then who's making the decisions on YOUR build? I mean if it was my car, my money I'd sure as hell want some say in what was going in it and would at least have a clue as to what was going on with it. Just seems silly to me not to.

Anyway, carry on, I'll be around watching, commenting, "bumping", and whatever else. 100 pages 1000 pages, doesn't really matter. I hope it gets done one day. I hope to see a wall playing and hitting big numbers! I have my doubts, but I hope it happens.
