Thanks man, The cones are a slightly different color.... just my luck. I may paint them... Got the EXACT same readings when they were both flat. shit

Okay I get the shifting part causes change, but now I gotta go find a dmm to see if you stop the motion of the cone the reading will return to normal. The coils on my 1st sub are both 1.6 The coils on the sub I got today are 1.5 and 1.4 Slightly different cone colors as well, the new ones shiny the other one is more matte.
