message sent haha, but anyways should i just toss it? or could i maybe fix it?

Money! LOL

Answer: If the sub will not fire and If your coils are reading out of spec, you probably have a burnt voice coil. You will need to recone if your woofer is decent or just wall socket it before you throw it away :)

no

Ok seriously?

Op don't listen to this guy. If you aren't sure that your multimeter is accurate, take a 9v battery and pop test the coils.

And if the sub were to have an issue, say coil rub, it COULD damage your amp if you were to hook it up.

When the sub would play the coil would rub on the motor and short out which could potentionaly damage your amp.

Now ghost rider, it would suck if you told this guy to hook up the sub because you think it wouldn't do anything, and that happens. Wouldn't it?

under construction
