You could do that, but it's a dumb idea imo.

And there's no point in hooking up mids to an amp that's using a lpf.

It didn't seem right, but the idea was kinda cool, small print for people who didn't need a lot, but were well rounded.

That would not sound right. A LPF would be set to filter out the highs that the mids want to play.

You would need it set to full range which would sound like poo on the woofer.

You can do it all off of that one amp, if you use a passive crossover on the subwoofer and keep the amp set to full range.

Or you can do it a better way and use either separate amps, or a 4 channel amp and put them on separate channels.
