I wanted to post pics of the old school RF gear I had in my Trans Am, but it didn't seem to fit in the "Junk Drawer". Since I might completely revamp and upgrade this system, figured I'd drop a few pics in here. Back story: It was 2000, my wife had just gotten a new job, and we were both 26 years old. We could only afford one new car, so we decided on the best choice for a family of 4...a Pontiac Trans Am. Believe it or not, she wanted the car, I just wanted to put a system in it. I've swapped out subs a few times...single 10 inch sub in a custom molded fiberglass enclosure, ported, and tucked away stealthily on the left side (like a Stealthbox, only MUCH stronger). Head unit has been swapped too since the original install too. This system doesn't get me excited the way it used to, but it was fun to go out there and look at it today. Got me thinking about what I could do if I used the entire hatch area instead of the stealth enclosure. Best meter was 140.4, back in 2001, so it probably isn't all that accurate. I thought that was loud. Anyway...here are some pics!

sl9965 Posted November 22, 2013 Report Posted November 22, 2013 Your install looks great. I'm helping my son install an amp and some subs in his 95 Firebird. The Kenwood amp he has keeps turning off. Kenwood is saying it's a ground issue. Where did you ground your amps in your car? Thanks. Any help would be appreciated.
