Borris The Blade
You'll net around 14.95, I guessed on bracing displacement of .3. 3 12 inch long ports will give you 35hz tuning but only 10.08 port area per foot. Im no expert but thats what I came up with. It's like rubbing your wiener up against a sheep.
Joe X
So here is a suggestion for a box 4 Zv3 15s subs up/port back on rated power: Enclosure Specifications:Fb = 34.5 HzVb = 12.5 ft^3External Height = 19.5 inExternal Width = 40 inExternal Depth = 43.375 inPort Height = 5 inCut Sheet List:* All Dimensions in Inches.* Wood Thickness is 3/4 for all Parts.External Enclosure Parts:2 x Top & Bottom (3 parts) = 40 x 43 3/8Left & Right Sides = 41 7/8 x 17 1/4Front & Back = 40 x 17 1/4L Port Internal Assembly Parts:Front to Back = 20 1/4 x 38 1/2 Visual of box (generic dimensions): Important notes:- The 45s if you want to do them are 2 1/2" wide except the one/ones inside the port, if you want that let me know.- All trunk boxes built outside the car need to fit in their way in not just have the right dimensions.- The port needs 5" of free airspace in front of it for proper operation.- Setting your amp subsonic filter to 28Hz is suggested.
