notorious97200 Posted February 25, 2013 Report Posted February 25, 2013 What size VC for your CVXs ? 2 DVC4 : any amp with 2000 w rms @ 1 Ohm : DC 2.0, Crescendo 2000, even a Sundown saz 1500 would be enough. Or the Kicker 2500, but you need to check them before, as I'm ot sure. 2 DVC2 : amp with 2000 w rms @ 2 Ohms : Alpine mrp 2000, for example, OR 2 1000 w amp (at 1 Ohm) that you could strapp for ease of use/tuning, like 2 Sundown saz 1000 (if they still make them). justin0943 Posted February 25, 2013 Report Posted February 25, 2013 Those 15" cvx's are 1000 rms a piece, so a 2000 watt amp will do. Kickers really don't like to be over powered from my experience. No one will know unless you do it. If they sound like they are maxing out, seems like you're clipping them to hell. I have 2 Memphis MR1200.1 on 2 12 Kicker CVX that I did for a friend in his car and they take it all day without any problems.
