Okay so i have the Rockford Fosgate T2 6.5" Components. When i installed them i sort of (Thought i did anyways) realized i didnt like aluminum dome tweeters because they sounded harsh...Well today playing with my HU balance, i switched from left to right and noticed the left sounds fine, but the right one just hurts my ears and sounds awfully harsh and scratchy..... so i guess i need to figure this out cuz its KILLING ME INSIDE. Please feel free to help in anyway! OH BTW i have messed with the -2, 0, and +2 dB, and the on/off axis and nothing has helped.

Sounds like a bad speaker, try switching them and see if you get the same result?

switch the speakers on the amp channels and listen.

Has it done it since install? If it has it could be maybe a bad wire somewhere? Also as bcbrassard said, bad speaker, which would be weird since it's a RF power. Maybe it could have got blown? Any more details that you can think of, such as amp its running off of, rca, etc.

Also you could have a bad speaker.

Always test your gear before installing it :)

Yes it did do it when I first installed them. I never realized it was just the right side though until today i had always thought it was both... Running off of a Coustic Power Logic 360. Old school, great SQ amp... See, i thought it stopped for about a week (a month ago) but then again i never really turned it up that loud and now im noticing it alot! I re did ALL of my wires with 16 gauge NVX wire, (good shit). So i know its not a wiring issue because i just double checked them today. Lol

Well...i did test it but im REALLY not comfortable with turning my shit up full tilt before AT LEAST a week to them being played on low-medium volume. So i never really noticed it.
