bigkevy Posted March 13, 2013 Report Share Posted March 13, 2013 hello, well i had this big system planned out, but funds are not coming in as much as id like so its taking a while to save up, so in the mean time i wanted to get some beat in my car. i currently own a bxi 2610 4 ohms: 850 watts x 1 chan. 2 ohms: 1700 watts x 1 chan. 1 ohm: 2600 watts x 1 chan. i also have 2 arc audio fd 1200,1 1 Channels @ 4Ohms - 510 watts 1 Channels @ 2Ohms - 1010 watts 1 Channels @ 1Ohm - 1100 watts so my question is what set up would be best for 2 sx18d2? the bxi2610 has to positives and 2 negatives. can i run each pos and neg to there own terminal and keep it at 1ohm? thanks 2007 mustang Boyo avn701d hifonics bxi2610 2 olm 2415s hifonics 100.4 2 infinity 6x8s 2 kicker comp cvt 8s Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
CleanSierra Posted March 13, 2013 Report Share Posted March 13, 2013 Nope, you can't wire 2 Dual 2 ohm subs to a final load of 1 ohm. Your options are .5 ohms or 2 ohms final load at the amp.
