Dude, it's a known FACT not an opinion, a FACT that woofer size has little to nothing to do with how a woofer sounds/performs. It's about (1)Woofer specs and (2) enclosure design. FACT: If an 18" Is tuned to we'll say 45hz, and an 8" is tuned to 32hz, if the enclosure was designed correctly, that 8" will walk ALL OVER the 18" in low-end. It's not about size. it's about how you use it. Pretty sure the SMD woofer is a highly musical woofer, and it comes in the 18" option. Steve's Lexus is pretty much a SQ car and he has what? A single BADASS 15" in his car... Sooo....
