Ripped a Piece of HDC3 Surround. Concerns?

Recommended Posts

Over the weekend I installed a new HDC3 15" and had a little mishap. I just finished test fitting the sub and as I was taking the screw out it caught a hold of some excess glue. I wasn't watching so I only heard a ripping noise and saw the result. It pulled of a quarter sized piece of the top layer of the surround. (See picture below) I have played the sub all out for two days now and it hasn't ripped to shreds. Should I take precaution though? Will the rip grow? Is there something I can smear on top to stop it from sperading? Perhaps a flexible silicone? It appears to be merely cosmetic. Better safe then sorry though.
