Also, if the failure was caused by over-tightening, there would be some evidence of twisting or thread damage/failure or rounding out of the whole. All of which are none existent.

Mine Did The Same Thing, Not Covered By Warranty... Just Kind Of A Bad Design, I Barely Tightened Them And They Broke.

the first set only lasted around a week, I'm not sure when they broke. My current set is still good, i just BARELY tightened them... hopefully i can find something else to use tho

It seems like a terrible execution of a simple design. I'm just gonna replace what I have to with some aluminum or copper. I'll figure that out later.

One of mine did that a couple years ago, I contacted Nathan (IIRC) on the forum and he hooked me up with a replacement.

Same problem happened to me. Lasted about a week, and then they just broke off just like in those pics. Went with aluminum bars and never looked back.
