Swordlordboy1234
Only way anyone can get you even close is if they own a dd1 / oscope and have your same headunit (to find clipping point) and even then they could only help with the gains if they had your same headunit AND amps even then it wouldn't be exact. 6v pre outs means generally lower gain, between no gain and 14% gain. 4v pre outs means low gain also but higher then 6v settings, generally 15% to 20% and 2v pre out is the base line on aftermarket headunits and they normally require 21% to 40% gain. All of that is not reliable, and is only to give you an idea how the output voltage of your headunit effects your gain settings assuming you know exactly where the volume clips on the headunit. Generally I'd set everything half of what I recommended above to your matching output voltage just to be safe till you find some way to do it properly. Once you do, simply find the clipping point with a -0db tone on 1k and on 40hz, pick the lower of the numbers. And then use -5db 1khz to set the gain on your 175.4 and use -5 or -10 for your 2k. If someone tries to flame over the above on gains, that was me really trying to at least get him started but still safe till he can do it properly Quote My old YouTube channel : http://www.youtube.com/user/SwordLords1234?feature=mhee My old build log : http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/161872-96-accord-b2-sundown-sky-high-dc-power-re-re-build-for-heatwave/page-37 My New Build - http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/207041-2016-mazda-6-sql-build/ 2016 Mazda 6 Touring JL Fix 86 - OEM signal correction B2 prototype DSP 6to8 B2 Ref63 - 3 way active set 2 B2 Class H quattro's 1 B2 Zero.5R @.5 2 B2 HNv3 12 d2 B2 SLIP40 - Lithium in the trunk Northstar Group 35 under the hood 100ft 2/0 welding cable 30ft 4ga welding cable 20ft 8ga welding cable All stinger OFC speaker wire Soundrive custom RCA's Tons of attention to detail....
