FeelDaBass
Hi, I have been looking at the Pioneer 80PRS and was wondering what most people would do for the best results. I have a T600-4 running a T1652-S component set (passive) and a set of T1693 (3-way 6x9s). Also a T1D215 15" off a T1500-1bdCP. I was wondering if I should leave everything as it is and use auto eq if I were to get the Pioneer. Or maybe setting the HU to 3-way and using the 6x9s just for mids? That way I could run a low, mid, and high setup.. I don't have a lot of money to play around with, but am seriously considering on upgrading to that HU soon as my JVC is rejecting my iPod and I'm due for a change. White Lightning
If your 6x9s are located in the rears, I would not try and blend them in as a 3 way setup ... Will be almost impossible to tune ... Set it up to the way you have your speaker application now and you should automatically notice a big difference ... Just by tuning the Pioneer ... FeelDaBass
I will try the 3-way out later down the road, but for now I'll take both of your advice and keep it front, back, and sub. Thank you!
