That's the easier way to do it if you want to use a switch. I've got the wiring for the relay option lying around somewhere and I'll try to find it.

Patience man. No need to bump a thread after an hour and a half.

Well, you can always use a toggle switch of your liking like I did on mine. Connect the green wire and a ground to the switch, that will do the trick.

You need one of these: http://www.radioshack.com/product/index.jsp?productId=3020762#

Then do this:

85 - Remote from the head unit

86 - Ground

87 - Ground, connected to pin 86 as a "loop"

30 - Green wire coming from the head unit

I am sure that video will help some people, but whoever made it should have shut the damn door when they turned the key on lol.

the switch will work, the difference between a relay and a micro bypass is a two time ground delay chip relay so its time by like 2 seconds to tap the ground twice

the bypass is 20 bucks on ebay and a regular relay dont work

Ahhh I gotcha Ric. I haven't tried it on any of the new models, so I was just going from experience over the years lol.

In that case, just buy the relay or do the switch idea.
