Stremes
Hi everyone, ive seen all of steve's videos on You Tube and figured this would be a good place for some help. Im getting into a more complex wiring setup and need to make sure its right before i hook anything up. Ive upgraded my alternator to a 200amp and i have Optima Red Top up front and a stock battery in the rear (i will switch to kinetik soon). I also have a 20farad Power Acustic capacitor and Rockford T30001BD on the way. I want to run 3 Cerwin Vega 12" strokers off of it with a 2nd amp down the road. Any help would be great Chris Quote 2 Orion HCCA 15.4's half wall setup with backseat out 3cf per chamber tuned to 35Hz 145.3DB @38Hz in DB Drag Super Street 1-2 Rockford T30001BD Hifonics BXI 1006 2-channel 200amp alternator 0ga welding cable power & ground (the big 3) Two runs of positive Optima RedTop upfront 2 Interstate SRM-27 marine batteries in trunk JVC deck and Phoenix Gold line driver Rockford Fosgate T162C in front doors Rockford Fosgate T162C in custom fiberglass pods Rockford Fosgate T1692C in stock location More fosgate component speakers to come

Stremes
250should be fine for that alt. I put 150 on each run to match the 300 inside the amp, i want to make sure the amp fuse is the last thing to blow. if i put 200 or 250 on the 0ga should i change the one in the fuse block to 250 or 300? roscoe1129
were talking about from the alt to the battery put a 250amp fuse on that wire. Then fuse your power wire as needed for the amps specs. I was thinking 2 HC1400's plus the RedTop Quote 2 Orion HCCA 15.4's half wall setup with backseat out 3cf per chamber tuned to 35Hz 145.3DB @38Hz in DB Drag Super Street 1-2 Rockford T30001BD Hifonics BXI 1006 2-channel 200amp alternator 0ga welding cable power & ground (the big 3) Two runs of positive Optima RedTop upfront 2 Interstate SRM-27 marine batteries in trunk JVC deck and Phoenix Gold line driver Rockford Fosgate T162C in front doors Rockford Fosgate T162C in custom fiberglass pods Rockford Fosgate T1692C in stock location More fosgate component speakers to come
roscoe1129
the batteries are gonna be a back up for the alt when it cant keep up with the current draw from your amp so if you go to extreme on one 200 amp alt, it will just hurt in the long run. But I think you will be fine with red top up front and 2 HC1400 in the rear. Team Bassick - Kimo
I don't want to assume nothing so I'll ask the question. Did you do the Big 3 upgrade? Quote KIMO @teambassick http://www.teambassick.com

PaulO2288
Their is no need to run a 0 guage ground wire from the front negative to the rear negative if you ground both batteries negatives to the frame. Looks good otherwise. You may find the capacitor doing more harm then good to your electirical voltage.
