Zak Katzer Posted April 5, 2013 Report Share Posted April 5, 2013 I plan on running a DC 7.5k. i was thinking dual runs from front batt to back bank (pos and neg) thinking bank could be 4 D3100's. would that be enough? and i want to do a run of 4 gauge from the front batt to the mids and highs amp (crescendo 1100.4) what would be a good batt to suport that amp? car is a chevy tahoe would like to keep the batt up front small enough to fit in the stock location (no modification) with a 270ish amp alt and big three done. OrionStang Posted April 5, 2013 Report Share Posted April 5, 2013 I ran a 7.5k and Sundown 200.4 on 3 D6500's with a D1200 under the hood, 270XP alt. I only dropped under 13v two or three times after all day demos. 4 3100's would be overkill, but nothing wrong with that.
