Hitting the lanes for the first time. Any advice?

Have fun. Don't stress over your score, it's a baseline. If you don't know your peak fq, see if they'll do a sweep for you before the comp. And have fun.

X2 on this... Winning is fun but fuck it man its your 1st time go out have fun and put up a score... Then you have a score to set out to break or it will let you know how close you are to the numbers you want to get... :)

In addition to just having fun, some time on a TL before a competition would make you learn what gets "loud" in your car.

I'm not only talking about a sweep run the same day, but some propper testing if you can get access to a TL.

I'll most likely get my first competition this summer, and I'm lucky enough to get TL time to tune and tweak my upcoming system.

But still, #1 priority must be to have FUN!
