Guest Nismofreak Posted February 14, 2008 Report Posted February 14, 2008 Sure it sucks I didn't get the 08 model but Steve's right...I don't really care to be honest. This amp should still give my subs about a 1000 watts each and that is perfect for them. My next setup will be a bit better than this...going with FI and RF. I think this amp has either 2 gauge or 0 gauge inputs. 0 I think. You will be happy with the amp. To bad you didn't get xxv amp o well

Stremes Posted February 14, 2008 Report Posted February 14, 2008 Stremes, how many watts did it give you at 1 ohm or did you run it at another resistence? Ran it at 1ohm.. just a quick little test, the stroker is 2000w rms and it was over powered for it. Pounded just as hard as my 3600w RMS boss amp and maybe a lil cleaner. 2 Orion HCCA 15.4's half wall setup with backseat out 3cf per chamber tuned to 35Hz 145.3DB @38Hz in DB Drag Super Street 1-2 Rockford T30001BD Hifonics BXI 1006 2-channel 200amp alternator 0ga welding cable power & ground (the big 3) Two runs of positive Optima RedTop upfront 2 Interstate SRM-27 marine batteries in trunk JVC deck and Phoenix Gold line driver Rockford Fosgate T162C in front doors Rockford Fosgate T162C in custom fiberglass pods Rockford Fosgate T1692C in stock location More fosgate component speakers to come
cichlidfort Posted February 14, 2008 Author Report Posted February 14, 2008 Yeah, a 1000 watts rms to each of my L7 15 will be perfect since after all that is what they are rated at. Not to mention, Hifonics makes some clean looking amps. Too bad it won't be seen though. =[ 2008 Chevy Impala (undercover cop style) Setup in the makings
