yellowXB
I have (2) Sundown SAZ-4500D amplifiers that need repairing. My issue is that these amps have been refurburished before and the repair company etched out the part numbers on the parts I need. The areas I need the part numbers for are: U1, U2, U3, U4, U5 & U7 in the location of IC201 Module. Please, any assistance would be greatly appreciated. DBR is the biggest joke ever. If I was sundown, I'd be ashamed to even be associated with those clowns.

My guess is they did the repair the first time too. Let me post their response. This is why I call them clowns..If they would have left the response to the 1st paragraph only, I wouldn't be so pissed with them and their response. But the fact of the matter is, I have a person that repairs all my amps I get. (I buy broken amps and have them repaired to resale). This repair guy has been doing this for for 25 years. I've never had any issue with his work. ------ The numbers are rubbed off by the factory that manufactures the driver card. The company name is 3S Technologies, you would need to contact them. It is our policy to not give out this type of information to other repair shops. We will gladly repair/rebuild these amps for you if you would like, and we are the authorized repair center for Sundown Audio, but we will not pass this information onto another repair shop/business/individual, sorry. The part numbers in question are common knowledge among repair shops that KNOW what they are doing, and the information is public. In other words what we are saying to you is that if they do not already have this information then they do not have ANY experience working on these amplifiers and should not even attempt it. You as a customer, should be leery of their repair skills and should use a repair service that is qualified to repair your expensive amplifiers. Think of it as taking a brand new Mercedes to a Ford mechanic, probably not the smartest thing to do as the owner of the expensive Mercedes. ------
