rocking.that.eclipse
Did you end up deciding on an enclosure yet? 4th or slot port?
mwjustic
I think I'm gonna do 14 cubes net ported within adjustable port. Have a port 8x8 and have different lengths for a 32 tuning ans 38 tuning. It's going to be sub up port up with everything sealed beneath the window line. 2005 ford explorer xlt limited 4x4 2 xs power d3400s 2 runs of shca mid/ highs- infinity 6x8 3 ways 2 18 ssa icons 2 aq 1200.1 @ 2 ohms 10 cubes tuned to 36 hrz

mwjustic
Sub up port back in that size box with enough room for the port to breath puts me in a wall class. And my last box was that way with less power on 2 15s and was only .2db less. 2005 ford explorer xlt limited 4x4 2 xs power d3400s 2 runs of shca mid/ highs- infinity 6x8 3 ways 2 18 ssa icons 2 aq 1200.1 @ 2 ohms 10 cubes tuned to 36 hrz
mwjustic
And I'v never built a box before so I'm using an app which said that would give me that tuning. What is a good number to shoot for? 2005 ford explorer xlt limited 4x4 2 xs power d3400s 2 runs of shca mid/ highs- infinity 6x8 3 ways 2 18 ssa icons 2 aq 1200.1 @ 2 ohms 10 cubes tuned to 36 hrz
Mr.JaunDurfle
A good starting point for port is 12 - 16 inches squared per cubic foot. 2001 VW Passat Sportwagen Alpine ICS-X7HD DC Audio 5K SSA 15" XCON Tantric Sounds 6.5HD's, Sundound Audio SA-6.5CS Incriminator Audio IA6.4 XS batteries, KnuKonceptz wirez, Second Skin

mwjustic
My old box might be going back in for the comp next weekend but hopefully the box will be made in a week or so. I want to take my time so it doesn't look like crap. 2005 ford explorer xlt limited 4x4 2 xs power d3400s 2 runs of shca mid/ highs- infinity 6x8 3 ways 2 18 ssa icons 2 aq 1200.1 @ 2 ohms 10 cubes tuned to 36 hrz
