02Explorer
Could you run all 4 subs in one box with one big chamber or do you have to split the box into 2 chambers with 2 woofers a side? (I am using RE Audio SE-X 12D4 woofers)
robby512
You can you just need to make sure your brace reall good so at the end of that you might as well make seperate chambers and some subs respond better in seperate chambers
Krakin
Could you run all 4 subs in one box with one big chamber or do you have to split the box into 2 chambers with 2 woofers a side? (I am using RE Audio SE-X 12D4 woofers) Whenever you make a box for multiple woofer's make sure you double the volume of the box, and when making the box the bigger it will significantly decrease your boxes tuning. I would have replied earlier, but I was measuring the output of my amp with a yardstick . . . What you hear is not the air pressure variation in itself but what has drawn your attention in the two streams of superimposed air pressure variations at your eardrums An acoustic event has dimensions of Time, Tone, Loudness and Space Everyone learns to render the 3-dimensional localization of sound based on the individual shape of their ears, thus no formula can achieve a definite effect for every listener. mothra
i'd either split them all or use them all in a common chamber if nothing changes, nothing changes You don't know what you don't know, till you don't know
Krakin
(I am using RE Audio SE-X 12D4 woofers)And when designing a box use torres instead of re box calculator because their calculator has a flaw in their formula or something causing inaccurate tuning results.
