ohm changing

i've been having problems with my high's set up so i was checking the ohm's and everything is at 2 ohm like it should be for my 2ohm stable amp but when the amp turns on the ohm's drop to lower than 2 can anyone tell me why this is happening

i didn't have alot of time to post this but in you need more info let me know

Double check all of your connections

You can't check resistance with meter (DMM) on a powered system.

To measure resistance, the meter applies a small voltage itself and measures the induced current to calculate the resistance.

If you do that on a powered system, it will mess with the reading.

Besides a speaker is a reactive load. It's impedance changes with frequency so I would expect it to change (drastically) with music.

How do you know your resistance is changing when you turn the amp on?
