I have a MA audio 4ohm dvc 8 inch sub woofer in a sealed .51 cubic foot box. Running off a Kenwood KAC-8105D 1000 watt mono amp. i have no voltage drop. the sub is wied down to 2ohms. Running 500 watts and it barley moves my mirrors. it hits pretty hard tho 2012 Ram 3500. No matter what amp or box you throw at it. Im not talking shit and this is honestly the first time I have told somebody on here to get rid of what they are running. When looking at a sub completely ignore the max wattage on it. only look at the RMS of it. I wouldn't say that sealed is bad, because I've ran a sealed enclosure before but a ported enclosure has lot better blows.
