Krakin
With the pvc jacked and weave? Mine seem to flex fine, about the same as my 8 gauge RF power wire. Just not going to do something stupid like a pretzel. I would have replied earlier, but I was measuring the output of my amp with a yardstick . . . What you hear is not the air pressure variation in itself but what has drawn your attention in the two streams of superimposed air pressure variations at your eardrums An acoustic event has dimensions of Time, Tone, Loudness and Space Everyone learns to render the 3-dimensional localization of sound based on the individual shape of their ears, thus no formula can achieve a definite effect for every listener. CleanSierra
Yeah I have she same style ones for a 2 channel and they aren't terribly flexible, nor is my 8 gauge Rockford wire either. It's great wire and RCA though, no doubt about that Im not the one you want to try to troll. Just a fyi for you.
Krakin
You have any tips on tweeter/mid placement? I'm thinking driver side tweeter in that gap right where the door triangle piece meets the dash, passenger side same level angled towards me. Not sure on mids. The kick is what comes to mind but I stick my foot right at that fuse cluster almost every time I drive. CleanSierra
Yup, I've thought about that EXACT same location before too for a possible tweeter mounting area. Im not the one you want to try to troll. Just a fyi for you.
Krakin
The tweeters and fiber-glassing aren't the hard part though... The stupid mid placement is killing me. I don't want to do in the doors since then they will be off axis and the tweeters will be on axis.. Krakin
nice build any updates? Thanks! Well I've spent all of my spending money on my computer build and nothing left to rebuild my two 12's for an isobaric enclosure. I'm thinking of taking out my T3's and build new bookshelf speakers out of them, then through some goop or something on the one mid I have that tore away from the surround. Probably going to take a brake from car audio over the winter and focus on the things that need to be focused on in my life.
