2003 Mercury Marauder Enclosure Help - Want to Port through the rear deck and keep enclosure above rear axle/fuel tank area

Hey guys. I will post detailed pictures shortly but I need help designing an enclosure for this car. See signature below for equipment inside the interior. So far the plan is to use a single T1D210 but I am open to suggestions. Since this car is pretty rare (1 of 328 Dark Blue Pearl) I dont want to cut up the rear deck. There is a factory sub hole that I would like to put the port through in the rear deck in that location. I dont know if the best/easiest way to do it is to use an aeroport or just build a square port that sticks out of the enclosure and goes up through the rear deck? THAT is why I am here. Any suggestions or help would be greatly appreciated. I want to do this once, correctly. :)

For those of you not familiar with the platform it is just like the Crown Victoria's and Grand Marquis. I will take some pictures of the trunk area and port hole to help aid in the design.

I will also post dimensions. The only real restriction I can see is that the height of the outside of the enclosure is only 11". This will make the T1D210 a tight squeeze.

11" Height (and that will be tight in places)

36" Width

15-16" Top Depth

17=18" Bottom Depth (would prefer to make a square enclosure vs angled back)

Pictures of the area I want to use, and picture of the opening in the rear deck.

Haha. Mine too buddy. I have had the Buick for 13 years and just found the Marauder in November after 8 months of searching. :)

Thanks for the replies fellas. I thought about some 8's but I dont want to buy anymore woofers at this time. I have a brand new Rockford T1D210 that I would really like to use. I am going to start building the bottom and back of the enclosure to see how everything measures up and go from there. My only real questions is the port since part of it will be outside the actual enclosure to seal it into the cabin. I assume using the "powerful enclosure" design from Rockford would be good unless you guys think I should allow for more airspace. Any help is appreciated, thank you.
