Hello all. Ok am new to car audio. So here the problem I had four new Sony gs speakers put in and my front passenger door speaker keeps doing a cracking noise. It go away when I hit bump and it come back when I hit a bump. I took it back to where I had the speaker put and they couldn't fine anything wrong and told me it was my amp. So I didn't know if was it the amp or what so can anyone tell if they know. Here what kind of amp I have Precision power pc 4125 that's all I know. I stop buy car toy a hour ago and pick up a JL Audio JX 360/4 and would like know it I put this in if it fix my problem. Sorry if I went on to long am just lost at what to do and sorry if I ask dumb questions. If I put this in the wrong spot sorry am new to doing forums to. Thanks to all ahead of time.

Sounds like a bad connection somewhere, or a speaker wire that's grounding out. Doesn't seem like blown equipment if it comes and goes, wouldn't be my first guess at least.

I had a similar issue with an RCA wire being loose, I tightened the barrels with some plyers to get a snug fit on the amp = problem solved.

Could be a lot of things, tinsel lead loose/shorting out. Poorly connected speaker wire or bad crimps. Too much wire used ( if they added to old wire) and got pinched. Best bet is to ( if you can/know how) pull door panels and inspect the speakers yourself.

Ok I will check my RCA cable there new and speaker wire and they ran a new one from speaker to amp. So I check them and make sure it ok. A big thanks for the advice.
