Unplug the RCA from your sub amp and plug it into the DD-1. See if it's the amp distorting or if it's something upstream

last time we did my mids amp. (me and jville140db) did it through the amp i dont think we did it from the headunit. but nothing is on like loud or bass boost and eq is flat and the sub amp (mmats d300hc i believe the model is) shows distortion at all volumes.

Then, you DIDNT follow the instructions.

You MUST (and its the biggest reason) start at the source...

hooked up to the rcas and no distortion until like volume 32 or some thing like that.

or something like that? u gotta make sure were hu distorts at so u can go on to the next step.

Do you have a line driver , processor etc?

If you lower the volume a bit does the distortion light go away?

no line driver and only processor i would have is the headunit kenwood kdc-x993

40hz flat? -5, -10- minus 15 ????

on all of them
