It should be a good volt meter. Its accuracy might not be 100% but it'll work. As for placement, you can glass it to the panel that covers the under dash below the steering wheel. That way it's out of your line of sight but still very noticeable.

Yeah, save your money and buy a good volt meter. Don't waste your money on that. Slow and inaccurate. No sense in getting a volt meter if it's not gonna work properly.

it's actually $69 with the coupon code and there is also a $25.00 discount if you send in your working (or not) cheap ass chinese volt meter. I am gathering these up so i can show you guys the GARBAGE you are buying and relying on. First of all, any VM with an adjustment knob is CRAP. 2nd, i have about 10 so far and i BET if i hook them all up at once they will have all sorts of crazy voltages. Guess what happens if you hook up 10 SMD VM-1's? They are all the same.

so yes, if you like slow, inaccurate cheap garbage, then go get that! If speed, accuracy and reliability is what you are after, we have an alternative for about $54 (with discount).

P.S. I paid $50 bucks for my pile of shit stinger's back in the day, that ALL broke or malfunctioned. There is a reason they are so cheap now....you get what you pay for.

Forgot about that deal your running. I'll have to send in one of the ones I have. Actually the one I'm gonna send ya is made by the same manufacture as the one the OP is looking at getting. You'll laugh when you see it cause I had to use a little ohms law calculation to get the right resistors to solder onto the hot lead to make it read even half ways close. That only works at a set voltage tho, so when the voltage changes it throws off the voltage reading.

I have a stinger..it alright..if you get a stinger be careful with placement its stupid bright..blue is at least lol

2 layers of 5% tint works really well for night. Depending on placement is easily visible still during the day. If hard to see at day, just do 1 layer.
