Sub Making A Funny Noise?

whats it tuned to and how many square inches of port?

That is huge for 1 sub in a non spl environment. wow I thought I was at a bit with 6.5 cubed for one 18.

11 cubes 182 square inches of port 42hz it picks up all kind of music at 35hz it wouldnt do nothing but lows

when i do my wall that seems to be the best one but im gonna play a test tone cd and see what note it is causing it i'll try to record it so ya'll can hear it its on dj magic mike feel the bass

Did it make the noise when you ran 2500 watts to it?

what do you mean risk damaging the sub?it took 2500 for a day or two then it started doing it i think its a defect that just took a lil power to make worse.and 7.5 would probably be better musically and handle more power
