amp for speakers

i doubt that sub was getting the 500 watts.. even if he gets a 200 watt amp it dont mean the speakers will see the 100 watts.. impedance rise thats why

plus even if he gets a 25 watt amp if the amp isnt set right he will burn them in minutes

so what are you saying i do...?

that no matter what you get, if the amp isnt tuned right. you can kiss the speakers good bye

if you get the 240.2 make sure you dont set the gains too much.. less is better(safe) also set the hp crossover to around 125 hz

i set my stock speakers (6x9) at 120 hz and they sound alright and they are taking it like a champ

thats what i was planning on doing.. ill have my buddy help me out too.

well i did forget to mention that it did blow... hahaha.
