In case anyone is wondering where the price is at so far:

-Total Neodymium Orders; $137, $314.46, and $317.59 ------------------------------- = $769.05

-Subwoofer Motor Steel Plates; $277.77, $318.48, and $71.68 ------------------------ = $667.93

-Misc. parts (18" Gasket/Basket/CA glue/shimming material); $110.71 --------------- = $110.71

-Cone, Dustcap, & Spiders; $39.87, $14.00, and $21.79 ------------------------------- = $75.66

______________________________________________________________________________________

-Super-Neo-Woofer Subtotal (so far) --------------------------------- = $1,623.35

Remember this is the price BEFORE the MDF, and the DC 3.5k that I'll be running. I also did not include the voice coil because I forgot how much it cost to make, probably around $40 for all the materials to construct it and 1 whole day of work.

So yeah, I'd say I'm pretty invested in this project.

Fucking love Alan you goddamned fucking super nerd lol

When Alan uses big words I don't understand

It's warming up enough that the donut-punching cyclist douchenozzles are getting their two wheeled fagmobiles out.

Everytime I see a guy driving a mini cooper I cant help but think he loves cock & (2/29/16)-My wife just bitched at me about throwing out things we don't really use. My response of well we don't really use your vagina so should we throw that out was evidently not the right response. I had to leave the room.

I missed Alan.

RIP 5/29/15 - I love you son.

How the hell can you afford this?

Nothing for now...

Did you get that scar tissue when you got your vagina installed?

I'd grab Adam's ass and look him in the eyes for a demo of nates truck.

It was work, then I graduated and had a spare $500 after paying my tuition to finish it all off.

Yeah, I'm just bummed the machined parts are going to take 20+ business days to get here............. So I wont't be constructing until NEXT MONTH! ahhhhhhhhh

I'll probably get started on the box though, just to save some time.

When you're placing the neo's you can probably use something like PVC pipe to keep them from pulling towards the pole while trying to get them into the aluminum jig and their slots you've milled in the bottom plate.

MickyMcD - "Capable of making some serious trouser flapping volumes at where's-my-testicles frequencies, the Servo-Drives used to be fairly jaw dropping..."

Any time you have have a power wire next to your frame put some rubber hosing (or cut up an innertube) around it. The wire is bound to wiggle (due to driving or flex) and the casing will eventually wear through.

I'm not seeing how the PVC comes into play here? You mean like put PVC around the magnets as I place them in the jig?

Lol, you might be thinking I'm loaded with cash, but just to show you what I've been working on all day.......... I was up till 4 a.m designing those steel plates and counting coins to take to the bank, which then took me and a bank associate over 2 hours to wrap in the coin sleeves................I ended up with $300 in coins, and still have $10.33 left over to save for parking meters :D

That's only about 20% of all the coins there, I had about 20 more zip-lock bags in my car already to go, it wasn't fun........
