Rockford96 Posted May 28, 2013 Report Posted May 28, 2013 I just built a new box for my truck its 3 re audio 10s on a boss amp:/ i know not great stuff but its what i have the box specs are 18.25 high 56width top depth 5.5 bottom depth 9.75 the pory faces up and is 10.5 wide 3.5 high and 22"long its about 12 for port area and i think its to much my last box was close to 10 per cube using pvc and it was alot louder and now it just doesnt sound right i dont want to scrap the nox if anything i just eill make a new top piece and new port so if you guys could help me out i would appriciate it Ive checked the subs wiring they are not out of phase all the connections are tight the box has no air leaks also My setup, Digital Designs M80 3 Re audio 10's ported tuned to 36 hz Kenwood x-696 SHCA 0 gauge Polk audio coax running off hu
Raptorman Posted May 28, 2013 Report Posted May 28, 2013 What's the box made out of? Also it seems that your box is roughly 2 cubes net. Those 3 10's are going to want around 3.75 cubes net. Port area is a tad on the small side too.
